Canterbury
is one of the best known cities in England, it is visited each
year by some 2.5 million people. It is famous for its Cathedral
and for the charm of its narrow streets and period architecture.
The city is small, less than a mile in diameter, from wall to
wall. |

city has a World Heritage Site made up of the Cathedral, St
Augustine’s Abbey and St Martin’s Church, which
are open to the public throughout the year. Canterbury has 2
railway stations and a bus station conveniently situated near
the centre. |
